Process Safety Management (PSM) is required under OSHA Regulation (Standard -- 29 CFR) Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals -- 1910.119. The threshold quantity of anhydrous ammonia on site is 10,000 pounds to fall under OSHA's PSM requirement. If your facility has over the threshold limit, you are required to have a working PSM program in place. In some situations, many facilities with less than the threshold quantity implement key elements of a PSM program (P & ID's, SOP's, Mechanical Integrity, and PHA). This is very helpful for future expansion. Cypress Reliability is very pleased to offer our clients these services associated with OSHA's Process Safety Management Program.
